It's preaddressed and stamped!!! What is so hard? (Another RSVP rant)

I am trying to be patient, but my deadline is in 3 days and we are missing half our replies. I addressed and stamped them for the guests, as we all did, so all I am asking is for them to fill it out and go to the post office. What is so difficult about this????
I am also irked by the ones who just walk up and hand me the reply, but it's better than nothing at this point.

I totally agree! My RSVP deadline date is tomorrow and I am still waiting on 54 returns and some of them are my bridal party! Um, I know you are coming to the wedding because you are in it but have the courtesy to send back your return because it's more than just yes I'm coming or no I'm not. GRRR

Ok, this makes me feel a little better. My RSVP date is next Saturday and we're only missing 28.

At this point, if people hand them to me or even e-mail me and say "we're coming, we want beef" that's good enough for me.

This was my biggest frustration to date! I had to track more than half ours down. Including parents and bridal party. Now that its over things seem to be coming together nicely.

I have the same problem with the bridal party, I have 4 bridal party members who haven't rsvp. I know they are coming but I would like to know what they want to eat, or if their dates are coming. Ugh.

I wouldn't worry to much at a week out from ours we were still waiting on about 30, ended up only missing 2 the day after the deadline. I haven't a clue why but a lot of people wait till the last minute...even if the know the answer way before that! Silliness

Our deadline is today and I'm missing about 50. I'm thinking some people think the deadline is the deadline to get it in the mail so I'm praying for a bunch to come in today, tomorrow and Saturday and I'll start making calls on Sunday (hopefully not very many). A couple of the ones we're missing are really starting to worry me though.

the problem I have is that the responses I am still waiting on are the extended family we were required to invite on FI side but now we dont know if they are going to even come and I have no idea on how we will get in contact with them since we were only given addresses by FI grandparents. We have a few immediate family members but they have already said they are coming I just havent added them to the total count since I havent received their official RSVP. Luckly we still have some time (RSVP date is Oct 1) but we still have about half that havent responded, and its mostly on FI side.

OMG I know! I ran into the same problem. Honestly, I can't tell you how many people picked up the phone and called and told me, or called my in laws and told them. It's addressed with a stamp.... it couldn't be any easier. smh
