Alternative to real flower bouquets?

Is anyone doing bouquets that aren't real flowers, or not even flowers at all?  I would love the brooch bouquets but I cannot afford them.  I found these really neat ones online that I think will be easy for me to make.  What do you think of these honestly?

  • I think that is super pretty.  You could do that with a few bigger brooches.  I made a brooch bouquet and got all of my brooches from fabulousbrooch.com.  Most are $3-$5 so pretty affordable.

<div>You could make them out of fabric as well.  Google image search fabric boutonniere and fabric corsage.  Tons of different options come up.</div>

I am having a flower making party tomorrow with my MOH and a few other girlfriends...the guys are going to cookout and the kids are going to play and us girls are gonna have a few drinks and make flowers!!! Mine have pearls in the center...I have some with tulle and pearls and I have white ones....just finished the first boutonniere!!!! How are you attaching handles? I haven't looked into how to put them into the bouquet yet...I just have the stems wrapped in floral tape. I will post more pictures on Monday (after the party) this was just a picture I had from the very first flowers I made. I LOVE that someone else is doing the oragami flowers...I'm so happy I decided to do them....FI wasn't sure at first, but he has come around!!!!! So...I hope to chat with you more in the upcoming days about flowers!!!!!
