And here I am stressing about my engagement pictures again, what a surprise, LOL. So here's my dilemma. I don't wear much makeup on a daytoday basis, and I'm not very well versed in applying it. My sister was going to do it for me, but she's presently at the other end of the country, so that's out. I really don't feel like shelling out 50 bucks and dealing with snobby salespeople at a place like Sephora the day of my engagement shoot, not to mention risking the chance that they end up giving me a look I don't care for. I'd like to look like myself in the pics, though maybe slightly more polished and photogenic, and it looks like the makeup is going to have to be a DIY job. Can anyone point me in the direction of a few good tutorials on different looks, so I can start practicing? Also, getting my hair trimmed and styled the day of the engagement shoot: good idea or bad idea? My sister suggested it, but again, I'm concerned about ending up with it not looking the way I want it to and not having time to change it.
