Tasting, YAY!!

FI and I had our tasting at the venue last night! I had heard from a lot of people including FI about how good the food is there, but I had never eaten there before, so it was great to finally find out for myself! And everyone was right, the food was FANTASTIC! My favorite thing out of everything we tried was one of the appetizers, a mini grilled cheese sandwich in a tomato bisque shooter. Um, YUM.

So now we have most of our menu figured out, though we still have to meet with our coordinator to confirm everything. That'll be one huge check I'm definitely looking forward to! The only thing we're still waffling on is what flavor of cake to get. FI wants red velvet, but I'm not a huge fan. Hopefully we'll be able to get the cake in two flavors so we can both have our way!

Woo-hoo!  It's such a relief to have the food be good.  That appetizer sounds delicious!

Yum!!!! We are only having a cake/punch reception, so we won't have such delectable samples We have our cake tasting on the 28th.
