Hi all,
This is my first post as a newly engaged lady (3 weeks ago today!). Like many brides, I'm in the situation of being in one state, just moved with FI from another, born and raised in a third, with a FI from a fourth. Every checklist is all, "Congratulations! Now just decide where and when you want to do this thing." Honestly, that seems like the hardest part!
A bit more about my situation: my parents are unable to contribute at all to the wedding costs, so it'll be me and FI. Better yet: we're grad students (translation: wedding will probably be paid for by dear old Aunt Sallie Mae).
Brides in a similar multi-state situation: how did you decide? How did you select a venue when you may not have been able to visit any of them in person?
I'm posting on this board because I would like to get married next fall, but ladies, be real with me: when I don't even have a date, a venue, or a city locked down, is that next-to-impossible?
If this has been covered umpteen times on here, my apologies! Feel free to direct me to the place for brides-without-a-country.
