I got all of my RSVP's back! AND my seating chart is done because I've been doing it as I go along. Now the rant part, I have a few who are like, I'm going to try to come but might not be able to, or husband might not. SO I still have to put in # with caterer for them as showing. Happily it is only 2 so whatever!

That is really annoying.  We met with our DJ, who had just gotten married, and he said he had a TON of people just not show!  His location was weird but I would be soooooo pissed!!  Is there any way that these ppl will know firmly a little closer?  You might check with the caterer.  I've read on here that a lot of times caterers will let you add a few more people like up to a week out, but not reduce the count.

We have until 2 weeks before to give a final count to caterer. Cake on the other hand is a different story, but I'm not going to add them to that count because I have the grooms cake and it might change the cost

I've been doing my seating chart along the way too and we're getting close to having everyone's responses back.

I would be SO pissed if people who said they were coming didn't show (barring, of course reasonable excuses like family emergencies and illness).
