NWR - Knee business

Just had to share that I had knee surgery yesterday and I cannot believe how AMAZING I feel already - and I haven't taken any of my pain meds since 8am, so this isn't some doped up amazing feeling, its just a good feeling.

Nothing major, but I just had to share with you all!

</div><div>Agreed! It's so awesome that you are feeling this great the day after, but don't take it the wrong way and decide that you can do things you aren't supposed to! Hopefully the rest of the healing process goes well and you'll be back to walking soon! </div>

  • That's so great that your knee is feeling better I understand about knee pain and it must feel amazing that your knees don't hurt,  But take the advice of the PP and take it easy and follow your doctor's instructions so you don't injure yourself.

  • Just make sure you still take it easy! You did just have surgery after all.

  • Yeah, I've been following dr's orders and my fiance, who is an RN, has been taking care of me and making sure I don't ovedo it. The only thing I've done outside of dr's orders was to quit takingmy vicoden, it was making me sick, I couldn't keep anything down and had the WORST headache. He ended up switching me to something else, but said to only take it if I felt I needed it. I know I have a pretty high pin tolerance, but I'm so thankful I haven't hd anything since Friday morning. : I had a tear in my meniscus that was cut out, soft tissue damage repaired not sure how... and some bone spurs removed. What did you have done.

  • I had total ligament reconstruction done and they fixed a tear in my meniscus. They also cleaned up my knee too.
