Grooms Gift

So I had the perfect gift for my future husband on our wedding day.  I had the opportunity to buy a piece of property in his home town for almost nothing (possibly only $200), but the bid date has been put on hold.

Now that my brilliant idea has to be put on hold, I cant come up with a good idea for a wedding gift.  Any ideas?  What are you getting your groom?

We both thought long and hard about what to get each other and were having trouble coming up with anything but the standard (watch for him, jewellery for me, etc) and then FI had a great suggestion.. on the honeymoon we're going to purchase something for our home as a gift to each other. We're going to a great weavery in Ireland so we might get a couple of lovely blankets or a crystal vase in Waterford, we'll decide once we're there.

I like the gift for the home idea!  We will probably do something similar....and my other gift will be some pictures for him!

I haven't decided on a gift yet, but I am about 75% of the way done with the love letter I'm writing to FI to open on the morning of the wedding.

I created a photo book of us for him. I used a Groupon, so it was cheap and really cute. I'm also going to get him cuff links made from maps that he can wear that day. One side will be from his hometown, the other from our home. I found this on Etsy.

I was gonna get him 50 yard line tickets to a detroit lions game as close to the field as possible...but finances are tight right now so we might be higher up but it's something he's always wanted to do.

We were originally going to do gifts, but the day is costing us enough as it is! We are just planning on doing cards for each other to read before we see each other that day, and then doing a bigger christmas gift.

I really want to do a boudour session for him and then make a photobook.  I'll also write him a letter for the day of.
