My 2 yo daughter is going to be my FG. I ordered her dress almost two weeks ago, and spent the last week trying to get ahold of the company I ordered the dress from (I called and left a message, waited two business days, and then called back)
The dress arrived in great shape, and looks adorable... but the website says its supposed to be 18" in length. When I measure it in the front, it is only 16" in length. From the side, it's 17". The dress is much too short for my DD, and looks ridiculous on her. She's a peanut.
I FINALLY got ahold of someone today, and they are sending me a return label due to the return being their fault (yay- otherwise i'd have to pay return shipping charges...x.x) but now I need to figure out what length of dress is appropriate - and try to figure out which size dress I should get her.
How long should a dress be on a toddler? I was thinking mid-calf length, because I worry about any longer and her tripping on it. I think I will order next size up (but I am worried about the length descrepancy - if the dress is 1-2" too short then I am worried it will be "close" (length on the next size up dress is listed at 19.5" which means it could be as short as 17.5".
This is the dress I've chosen, because it's white with a sash that will match my wedding colors, and now I am flipping out because she is the only one not dressed! Aaahh!
We met with the ceremony musician last week, and I mentioned I had not heard back from her. I spent days looking for her number (post move mess can't find a darn thing) so finally I gave up and called parish office, so I called and left her a message but I have not yet heard back.
I did find the paperwork for the marriage license though, so we are going to pick that up on Friday. Actually, our mailing address has changed since I submitted the marriage license... what should I do?!
