30% Chance...

I am FREAKING because there is a 30% chance of rain on our wedding day.  Any words or stories relaying that it will all work out will be much appreciated.

Our ceremony is supposed to be lake-side.  =\

I've been checking like 3 times a day!  I'm in Austin, and for the rest of the week, it's going to be around 80, but then on Saturday it drops to a high of 63 with a 20% chance of rain.  If it makes you feel any better, yesterday it was a 30% chance of rain, so hopefully it will change for you too.

I had my ceremony outdoors and it was supposed to rain alllllll day! It rained until just before the ceremony and stayed away until we were finishing pictures!! The exact same thing happened at my friends wedding too. I'll pray for you that the rain holds off!!

I've always been told not to worry about a forecast that says anything is less than 80% likely. 30% is not a great chance. I know at least in Connecticut, the weather can change on a dime anyway, so there's no sense in worry about it.

we had SUN, then RAIN, then HAIL, then SUN again at our outdoor ceremony and we survived... I still ended up married to my husband and it was the most unique experience I could ask for LOL...

just focus on that 70% chance of sun and it will all work out fine.

30% chance for my date as well.
If you feel better about my forecast....yesterday the high was 55, after high 60s all week with a 20% chance of rain. 
Today, I checked, the high temp dropped to 41 with a 30% chance for rain.
 
Nothing we can do about the weather, except for to roll with it.  I can just say that I'm thrilled that I saw a picture on pinterest with umbrellas and fell in love, so I bought decent umbrellas for the whole wedding party, in our colors to boot, from ikea for a whopping $3.00 a piece.
I'm going to keep my fingers crossed for you though. 
Worst case, it rains, I hear its good luck to have rain on your wedding day.  Who knew?

Thank you ladies!!!

I checked again this morning (even though I said I wouldn't), and it's down to 20%!  We're getting a cold front in, which is EXACTLY what I have been hoping for since we set our date.

What matters most is I'm gonna be a Mrs. K at the end of the day, right?
