My mom is retiring from teaching this year. Tomorrow some of the other teachers are throwing her and another teacher a retirement party. I got my mom a card (just realized I should probably get one for the other teacher too, I had both of them when I was in HS) but what about a gift? I've never been to a retirement party so I don't know if gifts are normal and if so...what kind of gift?
