unexpected checks!

Went to Zales to see about getting FI's ring resized and instead they are going to special order it because it needs to go up 4 sizes and would ruin it and do a same as cash exchange for the new one and the ring costs now like 600 more than I paid. Plus we are sending off my engagement ring to get some R word where they make the yellow white again the rings yellowinf from 4 years of wear....and we purchased my band too :

rhodium plated? I just made up the spelling, lol.... looks real to me. But that's what it's called : )

So did you have to pay more for your FI's ring or no? Yay for purchasing your band tho! Do you have pictures?

Yes, I just had to send mine out today to get rhodium dipped...wont have it back for 3 weeks!!  BOOO!!  But yes that is what the jewler told me, there is no "True" white gold, so they this rhodium thing, that makes it look that way!! 

Did you have to pay more for FI's ring to be resized??  Hopefully not!!

Nope we didn't have to pay more they're doing an even trade! And the ring is selling for like 1300 now! And yes rhodium plated....just didn't know how to spell...
