<div>I used Nilah and Co in Drexal Hill.  I can't recommend her enough.  She totally changed the bodice of my dress into the dress of my dreams.  </div><div>
</div><div>She also added straps, made a custom sash, hemmed, added a bustle.  She was amazing.  </div>

Ditto NCV. I had the train of my dress cut off and Nilah did an amazing job, and it was very reasonably priced.

She's also recently moved from doing everything in her house to a space right off of Eagle Road in Havertown. It's a gorgeous space, I had my final fitting there. :)
  • I also used Nilah but she is a bit expensive. I was more than happy with her work. It was just expensive in my opinion.

is it worth using her for basic things like hems and bustles or should I just stick w/david's?
  • AVOID David's. You'll probably end up saving money going to Nilah. David's alterations usually start at $200 for a bustle/hem.

  • Thanks for the info, can i ask how uch about she charged for a hem?

    thanks,
    kat
  • I checked out nilah they were very nice on the phone but the girl told me they start at 350-575 and the cost is including a full gown work up so for someone like me who only needs a hem its not really worth it for me to go there, so i am trying sagets in drexel hill
