Videography- Nervous!!

So I guess this is a bit off for here, but I thought who better to ask then my fellow brides to be?  I typically do photography, but my FI is DJing a wedding this weekend who had their videographer cancel at the last minute.  They asked if he knew anyone who could do it.  He said that I did photography, they asked if I had a video camera, which I do. So I'm now booked for my first wedding videography!!  I'm so nervous!!! What is it that you girls expect from your videographer?  I don't think they're expecting much cause they said i could just give them my discs at the end of the night.  But I'd feel bad not even attempting to put together an edited version.

I wouldn't feel bad.  They are in a crunch, know that you aren't a professional videographer, and will probably be happy that they have those memories documented regardless.  We aren't hiring anyone, but will probably have someone video our vows.  I think the biggest thing is to have some sort of mic to get the vows.  Good luck!!!!

You can still put together a video for them on onetruemedia.com if you wanted to. Alls I expect from mine is to show up dressed nice, and get the key moments basically the same as the photgrapher. I am sure you will do just fine ) good luck !

I agree with the PP just document all the key points that you would if you were photographing it! Good luck!

Congrats!! I know the most important things to me would be of course the ceremony, the dances, and get my guests and I having fun at the reception. Good luck!!!
