Dress fitting and Makeup Party...

Sunday I am going back to my hometown for my dress fitting, hopefully all goes well with it!  Afterwards, my MOH and I are going to a Mary Kay Makeup Party, never been to one so don't know what to expect, but think it sounds like fun!  The lady who is hosting it is actually coming to our Hotel suite on the wedding day to do our makeup, so this will be fun to try it all out.
My mom is paying off the florist as well on Sunday, another big check for us!

Grr! I've been trying to find a Mary Kay lady to do my makeup and all the ones I know are either busy that day or are too far away. Jealous!!

Thats who is doing my makeup the day of. I went to a bridal show and won their pampering party and makeup bag. When she came for the party she gave me her pamphlet about wedding day services which was perfect. She then came to do the trial last weekend. If I was further than 25 miles from her it would have cost an additional 25 but luckily I was less than that so it was only 50. Maybe if you contact the manager in your area they would be able to find someone for you? You should be able to put in a request thru the mary kay website to locate someone. The party was basically where they try out different products to sample a bit of their collection. Then the trial party is to figure out what you want for the day of.

Viola - is your wedding in TN or where you're from (I can't remember exactly where oops). If it's in TN I have a good friend that does Mary Kay. If she couldn't come to you, she might know someone who could!

Also a good way to find MK consultants in your area is to use the find a beauty consultant search on the MK website. It will pull up GOOD consultants in your area and give you a way to contact them. The reason I say it pulls up good consultants is it orders them in the order in which they are with the company. Such as directors will show up before consultants. Directors are the ones that have a pink cadiallac that they drive free because of their team sales. Which means they're good! They know what they're doing! Good luck. I wish I knew of someone in your area!
