Case of the Missing Cake Topper

About a week ago, I placed several orders. While I was placing an order, I realized I hadn't ordered a cake topper. So, I picked out one that FI and I had looked at before. I was peeved that it was going to cost me almost the cost of the item to get the topper shipped cause the store I had just been into in my area did not have the topper in stock (when I had been there before, it was in stock, but it was broken) 

So, I went to PartyCity and placed an order. So far, everything I ordered last week (9/28) has arrived. Except this cake topper. So, I mentioned it to FI tonight that I would check my email to see if it shipped. 

No email. ... Wait... No confirmation email....go to website... no record of order..... wait a second... I know I filled out the form (cause I transferred money from the Wedding Fund to the checking account) so what happened? 

There's no cake topper. 

I am supposed to drop off the topper & accessories to my baker by like Monday- I wanted to do it tomorrow, but obviously that's NOT going to happen. 

I just... I KNOW I ordered it. I SWEAR I saw the charge on my checking account. I'm going crazy. And now I have no cake topper. >.<

Better quickly get on the phone and place a call to double check they recieved the order. This happened to me, NWR, when I ordered from the Pumas website. I never got a confirmation email- plus they said they would send an email when it shipped- and I never recieved one of those either. I called customer service, and the employee told me sometimes the system is just super slow, and the shoes had actually already shipped. Anyway, I ended up getting those emails about a day after the shoes actually arrived at my house.

First store I went in to today had the one I wanted in stock! PHEW. Battle over.
