I was home all last week, and the first thing on my list was to find a seamstress to do my bustle this week. My neighbor was originally going to do it, but then she found out how many layers of toulle there were and didn't think her hands were strong enough (she's 74). Anyways, I've had the dress stored at her house because she was going to do all of the other alterations still.
I came home yesterday from a week away at work, and she came over right away. She wanted me to come over when I could. So I went over there and she had done my bustle this week! It's so cool too! I was sooooo excited! I guess with the style of the dress that it is, the bustle can really only be done one way, and it looks really good! I'm going to have to get her a really nice christmas gift!
I'm going to try it on tomorrow and hopefully I can get some pictures from her!
