Having trouble with...

stupid BM dresses.  I thought I had one picked out, but now I'm second guessing it.  This is so much harder than choosing my own dress.  Why the heck can't I find one that I really like??!!  I'm running out of time!  Grrrrrr.

I'm in the same boat. I'm letting my girls pick their styles, but first, I had to pick a designer and a color which I've changed 4 times (seriously). I finally just decided on a designer that has a lot of styles and is very accessible (Alfred Angelo). I don't even care about the color anymore. As long as they get their dresses altered to fit them, they'll all look good...i hope.

Have you thought about letting your girls take this task off your hands by letting them pick their dresses? What does your dress choice look like? Maybe post a pic and your friendly October board will help you decide

I have 2 BM, my sister  and my 20 y.o. daughter.  They have 2 totally different styles.  I found one dress that looked really good on my daughter, but I really didn't like the colors it came in.

Part of my problem is, I think, that I had an idea of my color theme in my head but couldn't find alot of dresses in that color.  So I changed my mind on my colors and was waiting to find BM dresses in those colors.

I was looking online at the Alfred Angelo dresses and the closest store to me is an hour away...I'm trying to coordinate my work schedule with my sisters to drive up there.  If i find something that looks good on her, my daughter is still away at school (I'm in NJ and she's in GA) and she may not come home this summer.

I know that the dresses don't have to be the same but I do want the same color.  The dress my daughter likes has a lot of pick ups and I'm not sure if I like that.  My sister is more of a "plain jane" and if she picks something with more of a straight skirt, I'm afraid it would look funny next ot the other dress.  I know I'm making this harder than it is but....Arrrrrrgh!
