MOB and MOG dresses...check!

This weekend, my mom, FI's mom, FI's sister, and I went shopping for dresses for the moms.  4 stores and 7 hours later, both moms bought dresses!

The dress will be in Sapphire Blue (a bit lighter than Navy).  The color isn't listed on the website because it's a special order color

I think this is FI's mom's dress.  I couldn't find it on the designer's website, but if this isn't her dress, than this is pretty similar and by the same designer:

The dress is a teal color.  Again, the color isn't listed on that website.

Both mom's are happy with their choices, which makes me happy : )

Those are both gorgeous!  Finding MOB and MOG dresses has been such a challenge, so maybe I'll send mom and FMIL those sites to peek around on.

That's great!  Both dresses are really pretty!

Finding my mom's dress has been 1000x more difficult than my dress and my BM dresses.  We are going to look again this weekend.

I know!!! Finding mom's dresses is so HARD!  A lot of the dresses were really frumpy, or the sample dress was in an awful color that made an ok dress look horrible.

2 of the stores we went to were great (my mom got her dress at 1 and MOG got her dress at the other).  One store said that they had TONS of mom's dresses on the phone, when we got there, all they had was 1 sad looking rack.  Another store was so rude that we tried a few things and then walked out.  Once that store found out that I didn't buy my wedding dress there, they wanted nothing to do with us.  How rude (in my best Stephanie Tanner voice LOL)!

My mom's dress is Montage by Mon Cheri.  The other brand we liked was Jade.  MOG's dress is by Tadashi.  

Good luck!  I was absolutely exhausted after that mission LOL!

Thanks for the info on those brands!  I will definitely let my mom know, and we'll look for them this weekend.  Glad to know we're not the only ones that this has been a little challenging for

I tend to think all mob dresses do look frumpy! i don't have to worry about finding one though since my mom passes away when i was 17.... but i LOVE your mom's dress i like the 2 town version! i may have to send the link to fmil... i am a little worried about what she will come dressed in she can be a little over the top sometimes< i am just thinking of the oufit she wore to fi's cousins reception>  but overall she is a great dresser!
