Had a productive day yesterday! I took a quick trip back to my hometown (where wedding will be) and got a few things done.
1) I met with my pastor, the officiant, to set up premarital counseling sessions and got the materials we'll need. I also found out she's okay if I want to involve our former pastor who helped me when I was struggling with my faith. I had already planned to invite him and ask him to give the blessing at dinner. Now, if he's agreeable, I can ask him to do a little more like read the gospel or something.
2)Ordered our invitations! So stoked about this one!
3)Borrowed a pearl necklace from my Grandma. It'll be my something old. I just need to figure out my something blue
4) Talked to my stylist to figure out when to do my hair trial and some hair color options. She took a little snip of hair for a strand test because the color I want is right between two shades in her book.
I'm so excited/relieved to have these checked off, especially the invitations.
