Need Help with wording

So I'm working on favors. We are going to give our guests a couple of maple candies in a little white favor box. On the outside of the favor box I want to put a sticker (from weddingpaperdivas that matches our invitations) that says something about how we made a charitable donation to the American Lung Association. Anyone have any idea how to word this? It has to be pretty concise because the stickers aren't big.
I was thinking short and simple:
"Thank you for sharing in our special day. We have made a charitable donation in your honor to the American Lung Association".

Thoughts?

Re: Need Help with wording

  • IMO you can't REALLY say you made a charitable donation in someone else's honour unless you made 150 (or however many guests are attending) small donations in each person's name.

So what I would say is "Thank you for sharing in our special day. In honour of our marriage we have made a donation to the American Lung Association."

  • Or you could say something like:

In lieu of favors, we've made a donation to the American Lung Association.
Love is sweet, we hope that you'll enjoy this little treat!

  • The maple candy is the favor for your guests, a donation "in their name" is not.  Make your charitable donations in private and don't try to make them out to be a favor to your guests.
