Bridesmaid Gifts

Hey October Brides!

Just curious as to what you may be thinking of getting your bridesmaids. I really want to put thought into my gift and want it to be a sincere 'thank you' rather than just a piece of jewelery to wear in my wedding (altough I may include this with something else). I have been thinking of doing personalized thirty one tote bags..then maybe putting their jewelry, flip flops, etc. inside, but I am still very undecided. What are you all planning?

I'm doing something similar. Tote bags with their names. To put inside I got them "day of" Bridesmaid and Maid of Honor T-shirts and I'll also get them each a fun wine glass with their favorite type of wine. I'm also thinking of getting Bridesmaid picture frames with a picture of each one of them and myself. You can do so much with tote bags!

I'm making them totebags and intend to fill them with goodies. I'm making their bridesmaid jewelry but haven't decided what else will go in it. I've been keeping my eye out for something unique for each one that will mean something to them.

When I was a BM for a friend, she gave each of us a decorated wine glass in a theme that fit our interests (mine was decorated in stuff from my favorite city, Chicago) and then an additional item compeltely unique for each of us. She got me a handmade serving platter with Ohio State (my college) on it, another girl got a Coach purse and the MOH got a framed set of prints from her favorite TV show.

So far I have
-Personalized tote bags from Vistaprint
-Hand made crystal bracelet (made by me, they don't have to wear them the day of)
-Broaches to put on their dresses
-Broaches for their bouquet handles (each one is personalized ex cat, squirrel, M inital)
-My grandmother makes jewelry so she is making each of my girls a real pearl necklace
- black and white scarves
-black and white pocket mirror

I am still trying to find other things to get them.
