  • 40 minutes.  Thankfully it's basically a counter commute. If I was going with traffic it could easily take me an 1.25 hours.
  • I get a ride in from FI, who heads this way to his work, and our drive is usually about thirty to forty minutes, depending on traffic. I take public transportation back, and it's an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes. I can't wait until we can move.

  • Currently 10 minutes, but I'm planning on applying for an open position at another branch which would be 35 minutes.

  • it's about 30 minutes.  our new house will make it about 40.
  • UGH! I work during usual work hours, so I spend an hour in the morning and about a hour and fifteen minutes on my way home.

  • It takes me about 25-30 minutes to get to work, depending on which red lights I hit. Since I drive to and from work before morning or evening rush hour, I feel lucky!

  • 10 min walk or 4-5 min bike ride... I work down the street from my place which is great... because I don't have to worry about my son coming home from school and me not being there... for that 1/2 hour before FI gets home... if he needs me he can walk down at see me, or call... (btw he is 12 lol) so old enough to be left alone for a while
  • about 10 mins

  • One-way, mine is a 50-55 minute train ride (depending on which one I take), plus 2 10-minute walks between home and train station then train station and work.  It's not as bad as it sounds - I sleep in the mornings and in the afternoon I read and relax.  If I was driving, depending on what time I was trying to get in, it'd be close to 2 hours and I'd have to pay out the butt for parking (I work in downtown Chicago).
  • about 35 minutes.

  • 20 KM (or about 12.5 miles). Takes me 20 minutes., 30 on a bad day.

  • 20-25 minutes to get to work, and about 30-35 minutes to get home.  I live out in the middle of nowhere, but near the interstate so I jump on there instead of the back highways.

  • 30-40 minutes depending on traffic.  FI's commute is 45-60 minutes.  After the wedding, we're going to start looking for a place closer to both of our jobs.

20-25 mins.  I actually bought my house figuring i was moving closer to work (about a 5-10 min drive) only to be moved to the other side of town so my commute stayed the same. It would be longer but 1. im going the opposite way of trafic and 2. i take back roads or a less travelled highway to get to work

  • Only 15 minutes during the winter months when we are in town. In the summer I have been working at the cottage for 6 days of 14 hour shifts. That takes two hours to get there, but I stay overnight for the 6 days and then head home after I'm done. Kinda confusing, but hopefully this was my last summer doing this!
