This board is getting crazy with checks..I love it. I feel like i will be checking right up to 10/13 lol

2nd fitting went well today. One more to go and my dress is done and can be taken home. I am wearing my mother's dress from the sixety's and modernized it up! Had the lace sleeves taken off and zipper taken out and made corset style! Best way to honor my mother's memory. Im excited. I love this dress!! They just need to finish my corset and add a French bustle. I feel like things are finally coming together. Congrats to us on all or our checks!

i lost 50lbs to wear this dress..all they need to do is add some material in the back and my French bustle..no hem needed since iim wearing heals....

In the beginning I was actually against changing mom's dress. But I had to come to a reality that my shoulders are broader then hers. And this way I can personalize it and make it feel my own too. Best way to keep mom part of my wedding:) Maybe now its been modernized a little I can pass it down to my daughter (of course if have one in the future) lol
