For those of you who use Etsy... this may be a silly question but I found invitations that i LOVE there.  I've never bought anything from the website before but I think I contacted the seller correctly.  That was five days ago though and I haven't heard back.  Because I've never used it before, I was wondering if she can just hit reply to contact me?  I'm not sure if she's just slow in responding or if I didn't give her enough information to respond.

I'm not a seller, so I don't know what their end of it is, but I think the interaction is a pretty quick reply function. I usually hear back from sellers pretty quickly. S/he may be swamped, or out of town? I would try and see again.

It depends on the seller.  I've always had good luck with quick response.  I am getting my invites on there too.  Check out their profile page because mine had directions for how to order.  Usually it would just be to send them a message.  I would try again

I just ordered my bridesmaids' gift (necklaces) from ETSY.  That was my first order.  The seller that I worked with was super quick to respond and even sent me a free paid of earrings with my order.  The necklaces came yesterday and they look great.  It took me a little while to figure out the process, but it turned out to be quick and easy.

I usually hear back from sellers within a day, maybe two. I'd try re-sending it and see what happens. Like PP said, maybe she's just out of town or swamped.

Thanks ladies!!  I was going to give her a little more time and then try again, but I just heard back from her; she was out of town.  I'm so excited, hopefully these invites will work out!

Also, PLEASE check seller ratings from other buyers. If she doesn't respond soon, you may see that she has been doing this to other sellers and taking a long time to get back/send her products out. I wouldn't buy from a seller who had a lot of great ratings, especially for something like invites. That being said, I've probably worked with around 0 different sellers on Etsy, and I've heard back within 48 hours from all of them.
