We went to the mall last night to walk around and get something to eat.  While we were there, I wanted to stop in and try on the wedding band I saw online, to see if I liked it as much in person as online.  LOVED IT!!!  They only had it in white gold, and the jeweler suggested that if I wanted it in yellow gold, we should order it soon so that I could make sure everything was right with it and I still loved it.  So we ordered it last night! I'm so excited I could scream.  We also picked out FI ring.  We're going to wait to get his since they don't have to order it. 



 This is the ring FI picked out.  He went back and forth between this and the carbon fiber inset style.  The only difference between the picture and the actual ring is that his has a single square cut diamond on it, which was another back and forth decision.

If I am thinking right, FI and I really liked the carbon fiber inset one as well, but ended up picking something different. Tungsten I believe. Lol, I feel like I should know this.
That's exciting tho! Congrats on the check : )

Beautiful!  I'm the opposite, though...my E-ring is yellow gold and I wanted white gold.  I am going to get the band I want and just not wear my e-ring.  FI is fine with that, no feelings hurt.  lol.  I had asked him what type of band he wanted and he said white gold.  So I was like, what the heck did you get me yellow for then?  LOL.  I was more impressed that he had remembered my ring size and was able to just slip it on my finger (I had no idea the ring was coming)!!

anyway, this isn't about me...this is supposed to be a congrats on your check!!

Yea, the one he picked is from the Tungsten line.  He's an auto mechanic, and while he definitely can't wear it at work, he still wanted something extremely durable. 

I was surprised at the Ering he picked out.  I'm definitely a yellow gold girl.  I had always wanted a square cut solitare diamond.  That's it.  I hated round cut ones and hated the 3 stone rings.  and that's what I got, but this ring is stunning.  (maybe I'm biased haha).  But it's everything I thought I didn't want and I would never want a square cut now.
