Cake tasting

Ok, I've been putting this off for entirely too long!  I have to schedule a few in the next 2 weekends.  I'm looking at the local bakeries, and I'm seriously drooling right now!

How fun! Yeah, I have a serious sweet tooth so deciding on cakes was definitely NOT my least favorite part of wedding planning. I even went to a few wedding expos and shows in my area when I'm getting married quite a ways away to sample cake! Uh, I mean, and get ideas.

Have fun, and enjoy the tasting. Cake was quite possibly the most enjoyable part of my wedding planning, but then again, I LOVE sweets. I stalked our cake place at a few different wedding shows just to get a sample of the dark chocolate cake with peanut butter filling. YUM!

Yummy!!  We are going for our "cake tasting" on Monday.  It is National Cheesecake Day at the Cheesecake Factory and its 50% off per slice.  I cannot wait.  We have invited some friends to go with the understanding that they will get a piece and let us try it.

Ha! I did the same thing. My cake bakery makes the best peanut butter icing I have ever had. Whenever they post about a bridal show I try to make an appearance lol.

Ha, I have a huge sweet tooth, so the fact that I've held off on this is crazy!  I have a list of 4 local bakeries already, plus one really fantastic one that is in North County, that I'm pretty sure would cost an arm and a leg to deliver to our wedding town....but I really think I need to try their cake too!

Cake tastings are AMAZING! Honestly, it was one of the best experiences of the planning and our baker got us so excited for the entire wedding. You'll have a great time!
