After trying to get together with a relative of FI's for the past four or five months to talk about him doing our wedding photography, we FINALLY met with him today. Only to find out he doesn't feel comfortable doing family wedding photos (understandable, family dynamics can make it complicated), BUT couldn't he have told us that five months ago?! With less than 6 months til the big day now we're left scrambling for a wedding photographer. I've been very on top of everything else so something like this wouldn't happen! FI and I found a local photographer within our budget that fits our taste in photography so now we're crossing fingers hoping she has our date open! I feel like I'm going to be holding my breath until she confirms she has the date available (or not). Crossing my fingers she'll let us know ASAP Monday! Send good vibes our way please!
