Invitations

Hi all! I'm nursing a cold, so I'm going to stuff and maybe address my invitations while vegging on the couch watching a movie. Is it proper to put the blank RSVP card inside the RSVP envelope?

Re: Invitations

  • I think you are allowed to nest it in the envelope (so have the flap over it), but not place it in the actual envelope, no. It may be an etiquette thing, but it may also just be to make it easier for your guests to find it? I'm not sure, ha.

What movie is it where the character receives the piece of tissue or velum as an insert in the invitation and thinks it's to blow their nose? This just reminded me of that, ha.

    Feel better!
