We're doing ours in July-August sometime with an RSVP by Sept. 20 (we meet with the venue Sept. 27 and want to give a buffer for those who turn in late).

Early August I suppose... I've always been told two months prior to the wedding, so that's what I'm going on. But I haven't thought of any specifics tho, like when we need RSVPs tho.

We're doing 12 weeks, since it is Thanksgiving weekend and we want people to be able to shop around for cheap flights

Probably July or beginning of August or before. Recently our mail system is screwed. I sent out babyshower invites the first week of February and a lot of people just got theirs this week. The shower was Feb 12 and they're all upset they didn't know about it. I spent so much money on food for 58 people and only like 15 came! I would hate for people to not get the wedding invites until too late. Something about they closed some of the offices where they sort and send the mail in our area.
