Today's frustration with the venue

I'm frustrated with my venue bringing up a lot of rules or added costs this late in the game.  At our final walk through, she said you can bring a dvd of photos in and we will play them on the tvs in the bar lounge for the whole night....fast forward to the statement, that is an extra $25....seriously to put in a dvd?!
Then it was brought up how many long rectangular tables would need to be set up for things and how they only have dark brown linens for them.  I confirmed that because honestly I don't want to pay more for like 8 tables, and then she told us that she highly recommends that we get tablecloths for the high top tables in the lounge.  Am I crazy that these specifics might have been nice to know earlier.  That when they say you will have to rent linens for the dinner tables, that really includes every other table in the facility too.  I don't even mean when we signed the contract, but maybe more than 11 days before our wedding when I already had to contact the linen rental place.  These f'ing costs are pissing me off!

I started to feel the same about the caterer. As soon as we has the set bill everything was a whole lot extra. First was the rentals which was 50 more than his high estimate, and then he said the cake would be less than usual since its a small wedding, nope his baker came back with 175, 25 more than the regular price, yeah thats way more than the 80 he said. We found someone else to do the cake for 65 but then the caterer wanted to add more to cut the cake, I will personally cut everyone a piece of cake before I will pay another 3 per slice to have the caterer cut the cake. Maybe you should ask then why they are charging you more for those new items when they previously didnt tell you about those additional charges. Hopefully those are the last of the additions.

I know, my venue kept telling me I had 101 people when we had 100, and that open sodas forkids was the same price as adult open bar. And the table linens they said we could us for free were five dollars more than the ones we could order. They were going to charge us .50 a bag for the cand bar, I got 250 for 19.00 including shipping. I think they hope we won't know better or won't check before we pay.
