Today and February board

Today I have an appt with the caterer to pick out linen, china, silverware etc. Whoohoo I'm excited!

Also, have you ladies visited the Feb board? Some of those ladies are freaking out! lol I hope to just be relaxing the week of my wedding. I'm actually taking that entire week off before the wedding. I refuse to be stressed! This is why our engagement will have lasted 1 year and 8 months. That way I didn't have to rush and be stressed. One of the girls on the board is stressing out about ppl not RSVPing and calling now saying that they are going to show up. First of all that is rude. I would politely tell them that I have already submitted the count of people and unfortunately since they did not RSVP by the RSVP date that they wouldn't be ablle to attend.  Sorry, but that's what the RSVP is for. This isn't just a house party I'm throwing together. This is my WEDDING!!!!!!!!!!!

Almost every single bride I've seen on these boards has had at least a certain number of people who didn't RSVP and they've had to call. It sucks, but there most likely will be people who just won't put the envelope back in the mail box.

It's just lazy and terribly rude not to RSVP in my opinion. But I'll probably still end up making the calls.

Part of my DOCs services are to call all my vendors, do the reconfiming, put together a day-of schedule and makes sure everyone knows what to do and when to do it.

I definitely hope not to be stressed out the week before my wedding, but I'm guessing it's going to happen! I can only take Thursday/Friday off.

Everyone I'm inviting to my wedding is someone I care about and want to be there. Though it's very rude not to RSVP, if someone calls me the week of and tells me they want to come, I will do everything I can to make it happen.

I took off the week before my wedding as well just so I dont have to be stressed out.

There are always people who have an issue with RSVPing, so I am sure I will have to call around too. It sucks for sure.

This is why I hired a day of coordinator! I refuse to be too stressed out to enjoy the wedding day and the days leading up to it. It's a time for celebration, not stress.

She wouldnt be stressed out if she had called these people soon after the RSVP date came and went. It's not like this is a birthday party or anything, it's your wedding. Sorry to sound harsh but I don't really feel bad for her.
