What's on the menu this week?

We are finishing the chilli I made last week, and I left the stuff out for FI to throw together Black Bean Chicken in the crock pot today.  That should last us until the weekend.

Chicken breast grilled on the BBQ, sweet potatoes and asparagus for supper

not sure about the rest of the week I go day by day... I defrost in the morning lol. last night was split pea soup YUM!

I'm probably eating left voer pasta tonight but i plan to make chili from the tomatoes and hot peppers i've been growing all summer.  that should last me for the rest of the week.

Beer can chicken tonight. I'm trying to eat all of the fresh tomatoes we have, but it has been a challenge. I'm thinking I can handle one more caprese salad.

I'll probably shred the leftover chicken for curried chicken salad so I have something to take to work for the rest of the week. Sub the mayo for greek yogurt, though.

We meet with preacher dude tonight, so it will be a small frozen lasagna.

The rest of the week will include things like taco soup, shrimp alfredo, stuffed chicken breasts. I want to pick up a pork roast for carnitas this weekend sometime.

Thurs - Empanadas and tostones with fresh salsa
Fri - Chicken & Peaches
Sat - Calzones

I have so much chicken I need to use this week. So all our dishes are chicken. I can't wait to get paid and go get some beef and pork!

Tonight: Chicken Tikka Masala
Wednesday: "Fried" Chicken with green beans
Thursday: Chicken Fajitas
Friday: BBQ Baked Chicken with corn & mashed potatoes

Last night was cajun at one of our favorite restaurants which happens to be our rehearsal dinner site, tonight FI is making dinner, some type of southwestern tacos with a twist, he said its a surprise.  Tomorrow is our marital counseling so it will be dinner out afterwards, not sure whats in store for Thursday and Friday yet.

Tuesday - Yum-a-setta (beef and noodle dish)

Wednesday - sweet italian links with peppers & onions, veggies, sweet potatos

Thursday - burgers, roasted potatoes, tuna mac salad

Friday - I have to stay late for our "welcome back" night at school, I'll probably scarf something along the way

Saturday - FI's bachelor party!

Sunday - TBD
