Your yearly income...

I know this is a little personal, but I am just curious, its anonymous...and I am sure others are always curious too. I guess this whole job thing has me thinking too much. Sorry if I offend anyone. At least I am honest... huh? lol

  • I so far am the only one in the 0 to 20000 category. I'm not ashamed of that. Cost of living is much less where I am than where some of you are and where I live what I make is decent for someone like me who hasn't completed college. Fi works for the state and hasn't had a raise in like 5 years! That's why we struggle so much financially. One day I WILL get to go back and finish my degree. Until then I will be stuck in this payrange feeling like I'm scraping bottom...which I am. I get upset about it easily because its not my choice...I just don't want to take out a bunch of student loans to go back but I'll probably have to.

  • I'm surprised how popular my range is! I only work part time so I make just under $30,000. It's nice to see that it's the most popular category though! Haha
  • I think I am in the $40,000-$50,000 range. It may have been higher last year because I picked up a crap ton of overtime to save for the wedding. They might be taking away our shift differential though, which would decrease my salary by about 2-3,000. Nurses don't make as much in my area as they do in other places.

  • I fall in the 45,000 ish mark. It does not seam like it bc I pay 1400 a month in student loans. Dam college.

  • I'm going to FINALLY crack 40k when I get my advanced certification later this year. And that's pretty good pay in my field. Social workers don't make crap, LOL. I have to say, I'm pretty surprised at the distribution, and it makes me think we should do a budget tips post at some point. Weddings like to get real expensive real fast...

  • I'm in the $60 -$70 k range... I'm an engineer in the auto industry.  FH and I did not talk details on money before we got engaged, though with a little common sense I knew that I made a lot more money then he did. Still it doesn't really feel like that because he manages so well.

  • Wow, I want to know what those of you do who are making 100+ a year. I was in the 60-70 before I got laid off, and if I take this job I will be in the 100+, but it is traveling. Hopefully after a year of this job I can come back and not have to travel to make that kind of money.

  • I want to be one of those $100k and plus people! Lol. I work in preschool so don't make much but enought to get me by. Thank goodness for FI and that he is a nurse. Don't think we could live off my income. Well we could, but a girl needs some shopping money.
