Two very exciting checks!

Firstly, my Mom has her dress for my wedding! It's beautiful, a dark purple that matches my colors, empire waist with ruching to the hips and just about knee length, she looks beautiful in it AND it was free, a coworker gave it to her, big win!

Secondly, my time capsul came in!! We're doing a variation of the wine box ceremony without the wine since neither of us drink wine. I bought it off etsy and it just came today, it is BEAUTIFUL! If anybody else is thinking about doing this you should check out Vonderberry77 on Etsy, very quick and responsive to my questions and had the box done and shipped quicker than she said it would be. Had to share with you girls because we aren't telling anybody about this part of the ceremony. Hope you girls have a great Saturday too, cuz mine is made!

Thats so exciting! I love the idea of the wine box, but what exactly are you going to be putting in the time capsule? I think this is a great idea!

We're going to do the love letter thing where in the week before the wedding we're going to write a letter to each other about why we fell in love and decided to get married etcetc and put those in there before the ceremony. I'm also going to not have an actual 'guest book', I'm going to have paper out for people to leave us a note, advice, stick figures, whatever and we're going to put those in the box as well. Obviously I'll also keep an invitation and some other things like that. I love having physical things to remember events with and this is a great way for me to do that.

Oh yes! I totally love this idea! Writing a love letter to read years down the road will have so much meaning!

That's what I thought, to bring back the memories and feelings of the day, and of course part of the original wine box ceremony is that it is to be opened if your relationship is going through a rough patch, so you can read the letters and drink some wine before any decisions are made.

I have never heard of this idea before you posted this.. (i know even after being on the knot) This is such an adorable idea! I think I may have to do the same.. I love this idea!!!!!!
