When to Have Hair Fixed?

I'm having a professional come on-site to my ceremony location (aka: my hotel, haha) to fix up my hair. If my ceremony is at 3PM, what time do you think I should have her get there to do it? I'll be changing and getting ready in my room then going to the courtyard for the ceremony. I'm afraid of getting it done too early and it losing it's "luster" before the ceremony, but I'm also afraid of waiting too long and the girl being late or it taking longer than anticipated to do =/

Re: When to Have Hair Fixed?

  • Talk to your hair dresser and ask her what she suggests. She will know exactly how long your hair should stay with its luster and will be able to tell you the best plan of action. Also a little tip: wear a button down shirt while getting your hair done so you won't mess anything up when you change.

  • I would ask your hairdresser what she thinks.  My ceremony is at 4pm but the party bus is coming for us at 1 pm so my hair & make-up have to be done by then.  I'm assuming with the amount of hair spray she will most likely use in my hair it will be fine :-)

  • Agree wiith PP that your hairdresser should know what time to get there based on your ceremony time.  My ceremony is at 4:30 and my hairdresser said that she should start at at 10-10:30  I will also be getting my makeup done as well.

  • Thanks, ladies! I'll shoot her a quick e-mail :)
  • Better yet... See if she'll do a hair trial, then you can watch your hair's behavior for the day after.

    Good luck!
