Are you kidding me?!?! (Vent/Rant) Long

So on our 30 day mark I get a text from my sister, my former MOH.This is how it goes:

Sis: Hey. So do I still need to pick up my dress from you? and what kind of shoes do i need to get?

Me: I don't have the dress anymore. I returned it. Last I heard you weren't going to Vegas.

Sis: Oh ok, Well then. I was planning to go since we patched things up. Oh K. Well I guess nevermind.

Me: I asked our brother to stand in as my Man of Honor. You can still come to the wedding.

So now once again it is MY fault for her not going to the wedding. I was not going to hang onto a dress that did not fit me and that I would not wear. Like I was hoping and wishing that she will just change her mind 1 month before the wedding to be my MOH again. I was 3 months from my wedding! I returned the dress and asked my little brother to stand on my side since she made it clear she didn't and couldn't do it. And yes she did show up and help at my shower but that doesn't mean what she did never happened. You can't expect me to be like "ok you can be my MOH again after you stabbed me in the heart. Oh and I saved the dress for you just in case you decided to change your mind." What really pisses me off is she makes it seem like it was all my fault! 

She never even apologized to me! Yeah you said "sorry" but through a text message. And even when my mom intervened and made us talk to each other she was still like no I can't do it. My parents even offered to pay for her stuff and she was like no I don't want you to it's not right. Oh my f*cking god! She just doesn't want to come! And no we didn't really make up but I decided not to let you bring me down so that is why I am semi-talking to you. Ok I am over it now.

On a positive note we found my BM's shoes for her dress today! Yay!

Yep gotta love that people that do that and then make it your fault. Now she can go woe is me, I tried but MY SISTER didn't want me blah blah. Don't worry about it, this is what happens to those kind of people when you stop letting them do that stuff to you. You got the best end of this deal and you are going to have a great wedding.

I don't know the back story or the subtext here, but I can't imagine fighting with my sister that way. Honestly, if I were you and I planned on ever having a good relationship with my sister again, I would let her get any dress she wants off the rack, and I'd have both a Man of Honor and a Maid of Honor. I mean, you asked her for a reason, right?

Again, I say this as someone whose sister is also her best friend, but I realize that not every sister relationship is that simple.

But to make a long story short she dropped out 3 months before my wedding and blamed FI and me for it. She told me through a text message.
