First DIY Bouquet PIP

So for the first time one of my bridesmaids came over last night to help me with the DIY stuff!! Yay!!  What we accomplished was putting stems to the rolled ribbon roses & then figuring out how to put them together as a bouquet.  This is going to be a bridesmaid bouquet, 20 roses.  So I'm going to have to order some more ribbon cause I'll need at least 120 now instead of my original estimate of 100.  We're thinking of adding some smaller orange ribbon roses to accent & fill.  What do you think??

I like them!!  I think that some smaller orange roses will look really nice.  Were they hard to make?

No I found them pretty easy actually.  The take awhile for me cause after 10 my hands are sore & cramped.  I think a lot of that has to do with my ancient hot glue gun though lol

How do you make them...is it expensive? I still need a toss bouquet and I think that would be a cute idea!

I think the roses are pretty. I also think smaller orange ones would look good.

Not at all.  They're super cheap!!  I got my ribbon from...  http://www.ebay.com/itm/260896192878?var=560065549303&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 You'll need the 1 & 1/2 inch ribbon.  Then I just got floral wire & tape to put them into a bouquet.

oh & you need 3ft (1yrd) to make 1 rose from the 1 & 1/2 inch ribbon

Confession.... You (Alisha) and Krystle Lynn inspired me....

I read this post about an hour and a half ago and since then have made eleven roses for my toss bouquet.

I had quite a bit of black ribbon left over from my mason jar exploits. So now I just have to run to Michael's for some floral tape and stems.

Yours looks fantastic! Thanks for sharing the tutorial (and toss bouquet idea Krystle). I will post pics of mine when it's finished.

they look amazing as they are but i think i would add the orage ones too just for a pop of more color ! great job!!! i love them!
