XP from VA Board: Hair/makeup ideas?

Hi Ladies,I'm a former NC knottie and have been charged with finding a hair and makeup artist for a friend who is getting married this October in Alexandria. Do any of you have suggestions for great hair and makeup artists in the area? We are looking for someone who does both hair and makeup, and will need someone to do the bride, plus up to 5 other girls. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Our preference would be for someone who comes to us rather than a salon. Thanks in advance for your help!

    I am using separate hair and makeup people.  I also have 5 bridesmaids and based on what different vendors told me, that's alot for one person to do both hair and makeup (and it would take forever to get ready)

    For makeup, I am using Aisha from Picture Perfect Makeup.  She is highly recommended on this board and did an awesome job at my trial. her info is www.pictureperfectmakeupdc.com

    For hair I am using a family friend that is coming in from out of town, so sorry I can't be of any help there...
