Best bridal shops in Philly area?

I live in Manayunk, but willing to travel to the 'burbs. So far I've gone to Arielle and Ashley Bridal - found some goodies but feel compelled to search more. Any bridal shops in the Philly area you'd reccommend checking out?

No designer preference - just looking for nice dress at reasonable prices. Thanks!!

I loved The Wedding Shoppe in Wayne. I told the woman my price point and she did a great job sticking to it. I ended up with a beautiful sample dress that was quite below my original budget, all because she took time to figure out my style and could match it well with what was in the inventory.

Check out POB, I got my dress there as a sample.  I also liked The Wedding Shoppe.

Also check out Sabirna Ann's which is a consignment shop.  The Sample Rack is on South Street and has sample designer gown for no more then $800.

I got my dress at Country Bride & Gent in West Point, and had excellent service.

I also liked the place in Conshy, the name escapes me at the moment.  They have a good selection of dresses.  It's right by the Great American Pub.

I went to about 10 stores, no lie.

    Plus 3 in London.

Coronets in Festerville has a nice selection and the staff is nice too.  I got my dress at Country Bride & Gent in Bensalem.  I confess, I've had a couple issues, but none related to the actual store (designer sent wrong dress, seamstress wouldn't listen to what I wanted done, cleaner didn't pick up dress when supposed to, etc) and everytime I had an issue, Sue the manager, was amazingly helpful.

NCV2- I think you are referring to La Bella Moda in Conshy. I got my dress and my bridesmaid dresses there. I also got a few bridesmaids dresses there for weddings that I was in and I had great experiences every time. And they always give 20% of the price tag...Also- they always do a great job with alterations.
    Good luck!

Great suggestions on here, but also check out Bijou Bridal in Ardmore (you can knock that and POB off in one trip) - didn't end up finding my dress there, but they were wonderful.  Also a second plug for Sabrina Ann - if you can find something, the deals are incredible. I got my dress at Bridals by Danielle in Philly, mostly because I was looking for a specific style and they were one of the only ones that had it.

great post and great suggestions. I haven't started gown shopping but I am getting excited about it! I am waiting to get the venue and date set.  I am taking it one day at a time!
