Cake Recommendations

Hi ladies!!
Does anyone have any good cake baker recommendations in the area? 'm just planning on doing the smaller cake in front, sheet cake in the back idea.

I was referred here and a friend had her do her wedding a year ago. She is VERY reasonably priced, even with the drop fee from where she lives. She was able to meet my budget without have to do a sheet cake in the back. Her name is Margie and she is fabulous.

im going to get my cake made there.
for 140 people, $300.
a pretty ellaborate cake.

if you take in a photo, they can pretty much match it or edit it to your taste.
they also have a book there where you can browse through.
they do a wonderful meticulous job & their cakes taste good.

one of the reasons i like them is bc the cakes aren't overly sweet.
shila bakery is also great.
they are down the street. my sister got her cake made there for her wedding.
a little cheaper but still delicious & beautiful!

I'm using Fluffy Thoughts in McLean. Also reasonable price.

We found Marcia at last year's Annapolis Bridal Show.  My FI fell in love with the cake on the spot!  We're really looking forward to having the yumminess at our wedding in July.  Yay!  Good luck with your search.

I also used Margie from Artistic Cake Creations.  The cake was delicious and beautiful.  And her prices are much lower than anyone else in the area we found - even with delivery charges added in.
