Renting Tuxes

Our wedding has only one groomsman and one Best Man.  The groomsman is from a small town (about a 4 hour drive from us) which does have tux shops, albeit having a limited in selection. I was thinking that he could just come visit us once and be fitted for his tux.  This way if there are any issues around the wedding time (he'll probably be in town two days before the wedding), some things could be remedied here.Of course, if he needs more than one fitting, it might be better (and more economical) for him to arrance his tux rental from where he is.  Any recommendation from experienced brides out there?

I used to work at a bridal store and i know for out of town wedding party people- espec groomsman- they would go to their local bridal store/tux store and get fitted there- get only the measurements there- and then call the store where you guys are (where you can pick them up or where your getting your grooms tux from) and give them the measurements and they will order a tux for him. ask the store about it and they can prob accomodate it. this way, it comes in to your town- its there when he gets there and that way there wont be issuesin transit etc. guys work so diff than girls- normally there arent issues w/ mens tux's as far as sizes so what he gets fitted for should be fine and tehre shouldnt be a prob unless theres a mixup.
