bachelorette Party Ideas

So my BM's and MOH have requested my help with planning my bachelorette party... mostly just wanting me to pick a place for dinner, and pick a part of town to party. They are thinking of doing the limo to the clubs type thing once we're down there. I love really great food, and love to dance. Where can a bunch of suburbanites get their party on? And a fun hotel too. TIA!!

How much are you looking to spend?  What type of food?I would recommend doing dinner/hotel in Chinatown at Hotel Monaco  For clubs try K St./Dupont area.  With more information we can give you specific restaurant names...

type of food? Anything really. I love everything from sushi, to tapas, to a good rib-eye. I want it to be a fun, lively place, not too stuffy.  Considering one BM is in the middle of a divorce, one just bought a farm, one has a family and kids, and one just got married, money is tight all around. I don't want this fun time to break their banks, but considering we're not going out of town (fiance is going to VA beach for a couple days with all his guys and dad), I would think a fun night out and a nice hotel for one night would be ok. How much is too much to ask them pay though? I told them I'd help too. I know it kind of depends on the situation and the group--I get that. But average?  I don't think I would want any of the girls to spend more than $200 that weekend. But that would cover us squishing into a hotel, dinner, and our time out (they're talking getting a limo too to take us to different clubs).did that help?

happy hour at poste, maybe dinner there too? Or what about drinks at the W hotel (stay there too!) and go out around Dupont or another lounges/clubs downtown? They have an awesome roof top happy hour!

Rosa Mexicano in Penn Quarter is nice for big groups.  Plus they have a few semi-private areas. For going out --- Park, Jin, Saki are all good.

HI, My BM's took me out this weekend to Cafe Asia by Farragut West, and then we went on a party bus around to several bars in the area such as Tattoo, Ultrabar and Eye bar. I think the bus website is www.ridetheboomerang.com and we found out later you can bring your own drinks on the bus as well. Good times!
