MOH gift for pregnant sister - question?

My sister will be about eight months pregnant at my wedding (Nov 1st), and I want to get her a gift that she can enjoy after she has the baby. I need some help with this. I don't want to get her something for the baby, I want it to be something that she will enjoy, herself... anyone out there a new mom, or old mom :) What would you have really enjoyed other than more sleep, a maid, or more time, right after your baby was born? TIA

I'm not a mom, but things I've seen suggested are a maid and a GC to her favorite carryout/delivery restaurant.

I concur. Gift card(s) to her favorite restaurant, store (for post baby clothes, or personal services (massage, mani/pedi, etc.). I don't have any kids, but I always notice that the mothers of young kids give totally mom-centered gifts at every baby shower I attend. One of the best things I saw was a spa gift basket with candles, bath salts, etc. Any of these things can be totally personalized. HTH

I have a 7 month old so I may be able to help! A GC for a leg wax or pedicure...you can't reach those parts of your body at the end of pregnancy. A goooooood book, baby naps are never long enough to get a nap in yourself and it's a good way to kick back and relax. A massage, giving birth hurts in more places than just...down there.Nice, comfy pj's or robe (or both!) for in the hospital...those gowns are awful! Slippers are great too!A girls night out. While it sounds silly go with me for a minute. I was 17 weeks pregnant at my sisters wedding, we hadn't announced it cause we didn't want to take away from her wedding. So I fake sipped my champagne and drank shirley temples all night...it was lame but that's life when you're pregnant. You don't really go out at all cause who wants to be in a smokey bar and around a bunch of drunks. So leave baby with Daddy and take her out for a night on the town! She's going to have nights in for the next 18 years so might as well let her celebrate a week or 2 after baby.

Why don't you get her a Chamilia or Pandora bracelet? They are really cute and you can add charms over time. It's a very personal, unique gift. I just love my Chamilia bracelet!
