ceremony / reception site that overlooks the water?

I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a ceremony and/or reception site in the area that overlooks the water. I would have loved to do the beach but it just wont work, so I have been trying to find a place that looks over the water. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! (not too pricey!)

Not sure what area you are looking to be in (DC, MD, VA) but I just saw a place in woodbridge overlooking the Occoquan.  Brand new facility....harbourviewevents.com is the address I think.

How about Sequoia in Georgetown, Kennedy Center in Foggy Bottom, or National Harbor in Maryland. They all have water views.

If you have military access, the Fort Belvoir Officer's Club overlooks the Potomac and it's beautiful! They have three rooms on different levels, all with great views. We're having our reception (and maybe ceremony) there. Good luck!

The Chesapeake Bay Beach Club :) Getting married there next weekend! On the Eastern Shore...right as you cross the Bay Bridge. It's truly breathtaking, even if I werent biased!

I second Madigan's...its gorgeous and the food is spectacular. We almost had our reception there but they don't have an elevator and my grandmother won't be able to do stairs.

I'm not sure which area you are looking for, but the Sheraton in Columbia overlooks a lake. Also, Uptown Caterers own a venue in Maryland that's a little further out, but could give you that beach feel.

Thanks for all the great location ideas! I will definitly look into them. I am located in Northern VA. But anything in the VA, DC, and semi close MD works for me. Thanks again!
