Oxon Hill Manor

Hey ladies!Has anyone else viewed/used Oxon Hill Manor as their ceremony/reception site? The place is beautiful, it's exactly what I had in mind, and I love it! I don't love the prices as much since it's a little out of budget, but I was wondering if anyone else had any more info/stories to share before I commit. Thanks for all your help!

I didn't get to see it because my date was already booked but I hear it's beautiful. I'm booked at their sister location Prince George's Ballroom and their price was more in my budget. I want chivari chairs so I'm having another vendor bring it in. I found for $5.00 per chair. We're having our company retreat at Oxon Hill so I'll get ot see it then. Hope this helps.

Oxon hill manor is wonderful. I was thinking of having my wedding there but it was out my budget. There are other places though that are less expensive  within Park and planning

I recently went to a wedding there and it was absolutely beautiful!!  The ceremony on the lawn was gorgeous and the cocktail hour down at the pool was great.  My only complaint was the reception being on the inside. Since the venue is designed as separate rooms, connected with doorways, I didn't like it.  Basically, we were all in separate rooms, so when things happened with the bride/groom, we all had to get up and make our way to the room with the head table and family.  Personally, I would only consider it, if my ceremony and reception were going to be outside. We were married there right after they reopened. Our ceremony was moved inside since it was pretty chilly and to be honest it was very packed inside but still beautiful. I was disappointed in a confusion over outside tables but since we really didn't use the grounds much and our guests stayed inside it wasn't too much of a problem or noticed. I didn't really enjoy that the rooms weren't big enough for all of our guests but we had people that couldn't stand long stationed in the room we would do the dancing and cake cutting. I honestly wouldn't change a thing. Let me know if you want to see any of the pictures.

@Shatrell - Thank you for much for sharing that link! The pictures were absolutely gorgeous! So was that song - do you know who it's by and what the title is?I want both an outdoor ceremony and reception. I don't like the idea of breaking up my guests into 2 different rooms just to accomodate all of them. When it's all said and done, this would cost me approximately $6300 - about twice what I would like to spend. I was told I could get the security deposit of $750 back, as well as the tent deposit of $600 back provided that nothing was damaged and I adhered to all their policies. How long did it take Olivia and Alan to get their deposit back?I really like this place, but I'm going to keep on looking to see if I can find something more reasonable.

The song is Spend My Life With You, by Eric Benet and Tamia. I will ask Olivia about the deposit and let you know.

Olivia said it was less than a month that they got their deposit back.

Where did you find chivari chairs for $5.00?
