DJ recommendation and... have you heard of these?

Hi Ladies, Do you have a DJ chosen? Who are you using or do you have recommendations? I am also trying to get an estimate on how much we will be spending. Has anyone heard of these two? Chris Laich Music Services and/or Jake Ritchie?

Kirk from Kirkabees was wonderful.  See my review in my bio and everyone else's great reviews on the DC Knottie Review and wedding wire.  He was $850 for 4 hours. We had contacted Chris Laich also.  he gets good reviews but is much more money.  He said he is about $3000 regularly but would have given us $1500 since we were a Sunday afternoon reception.

Call Kurtis Cross with MAPDJ. He is excellent. He did my best friend's wedding, he has done some parties for us, and he is doing my wedding!!! 301-942-4500

we used michael valenti from bialeks. i think you could probably save $$$ if you didnt go through bialeks though. the people there were rude and not worth giving the commission to. but michael on his own was great for about $1100. he pronounced every name correctly in our wedding party and everyone was dancing the whole night. it was sad to see the party end. chris laich is supposed to be the best but he charges a few thousand dollars. i think you could get a band for that much $$$. very nice person on the phone who was helpful to us despite being way out of our budget.
