B-pics: need reviews

This is my first post on this board as I am a Richmonder but am willing to travel for b-pics. I am sorry but I can't get back far enough in the posts to see where I am sure this has been posted a million times. Would you please share a review of your b-pic photographer and if you feel comfortable give a price range? I am overwhelmed that this is going to cost way more than I originally thought. TIA!!

Try www.blythscottphotography. Their work is beautiful. Not sure what you're looking for and your price range but for what I was looking for, they fit in my price range beautifully. Alot of other photographers wanted as much as $4800.00. I'm paying them half that with the pics on a disc, two photographers, eight hours of service and a 10x10 album. You can find one for as cheap $500.00 but you pay for what you get. One thing you don't want to skimp on is you pictures because after it's all said and done that's all you have to remember your day. Happy planning

tait photography was amazing and super professional! I had her for my b-pics about 3 months ago and i did one of her marathon sessions. she had a prof. make up artist there who was amazing! Right after my make up was applied, i went into the hotel room and we talked about some outfits/poses i was looking for and she thought it was great! she is super prof. and made me feel very comfy and i didnt feel akward or anything! i felt beautiful! def. recommend her !

o i forgot- so the marathon was like $200 or so and the make up was an extra $80 i wanna say... eyelashes were an extra 10bucks- then you can order indiv. pics for about $20 a piece. I was going to do this and only get a few and get my own album from michaels but oncce i saw them i wanted more than a few- once i compared the price of about 10-12 pics to getting the CD (having all the pics forever...) which was $375 it made just as much sense to get a cd?... def. a marathon session i found was the cheapest and plenty of time.

I used my wedding photographer Allison Britton. I paid 350 and got 127 edited images from her on disk. She says 40-60 but I actually was shocked that I actually got more. I paid 100 for hair and makeup and the session lasted 2 hours. Mine wasn't a marathon session it was private one on one.

I second Allison Britton, and I can't say enough good things. She was amazing! I was so happy with the final product, and so was my husband!

I recommend Allison Britton as well - www.abrittonphotography.com. It's a one on one session instead of the typical marathon type which is nice. You can also add on hair and makeup which is a nice touch. I felt very comfortable with her and everything turned out amazing! I couldn't have asked for anything better.
