Florist Recommendations?

Does anyone have a florist that they used / are using and loved?  My wedding is in June in the Leesburg area and I'm looking for a great florist at a very reasonable price.  Any recommendations would be much appreciated. Also - how far in advance has everyone booked their florist?  I feel like I'm behind on booking the florist and am starting to get worried about it.  Thanks everyone!  Happy Friday! :)

I am using Growing Wild Florist (Barbara) and I love her!  I had no idea what I wanted but I had colors and a budget and she is giving me more then I thought I could afford and she has me excited about flowers!  My wedding is May and I booked her about 2 months ago.  GL!

I am using Carmela from Arrangements Co From all the florists I visited she had the most natural/modern style and her prices were very very reasonable. I booked her 8 months out.

I'm using Atelier Florist. I love them! Jennifer and Rachel came up with really great ideas and totally listened to what the FI and I wanted. They seemed actually excited about doing our wedding. We met with another florist who seemed like she could care less and was just going through the motion. Oh yeah and they are totally reasonable. www.atelierfloraldesign.com

I booked Heaven on Earth with Linda.  She has been excellent so far.  She is very patient, will work with a budget, has no minimum... and did I mention she is patient :)  She is located in Manassas, but will travel into DC for weddings.  My wedding is in three weeks - YIPPEE! And I finally signed her contract and sent it out to her about two weeks ago.... However, I started talking to her several months ago.  I would say call places now, especially for a June wedding, and feel them out - if they're wide open or not.

Second Barbara from Growing Wild.  I think we booked her in November 2008 for our July 2009 wedding.  She's great if you like flowers but know nothing about types, textures, colors, etc.  Pictures in siggie.

I'm getting married in Leesburg next weekend and using Affordable Arrangements. I know the name sounds a little Walmart-ish but don't be turned off, her work is beautiful.  Carly: (703) 771-7790.Alternate was Holly Heider Chapple; her work is AMAZING and reasonably priced, but she never replied to my 3 emails asking for a quote and availabililty.

I used Sher from Flowers by Sher. She's located in Centreville, VA and works out of her house. She was awesome... so sweet and reasonably priced. She was recommended to me by another NOVA knottie. My bouquets were spot on what I asked her to do. They were the biggest roses I have ever seen. She also got me peonies last minute in JULY for my bouquet despite all thoughts that they would not be available. You can see my pro pics in my bio. I hightly recommend Sher!! She provided the flowers for my cake too.

We used Shelly Bagdasian Floral.  She was amazing!   The flowers were beautiful and held up for days afterwards.  Her prices were reasonable for a full service florist and the set up team was quick given the amount of draping they did. She also had to do a room turnover after the ceremony.  www.theflower.biz

I know I'm a little late, but we used Erica Wrenn from Creations In Bloom. She is out of Hamilton, VA. Her arrangements were beautiful and she was so easy to work with. Good Luck.
