E-Pic Locations?

So we've scheduled our e-pics for November 15 (eek! so excited!)But we're not sure where to take them at. Hopefully the leaves will be really pretty then, so that's obviously a good option. FI's response was "I don't want to take any pictures of us drinking coffee in some coffee shop or on the steps of some random person's brownstone in Georgetown."I'm afraid that just plain outside shots will get a little boring. It is only an hour though. We're doing shots on the Mall for the actual wedding, so I think we'd probably want to steer clear of that. Any ideas?

Where do you guys live? Where do you like to hang out? We live in Alexandria so we're going to do our engagement shoot in Old Town since that's where we met and that's where we hang out a lot. You could also look at local photographers' blogs and see if any of the locations of other engagement shoots inspire you. Good luck!

We did ours in Burke Lake Park and they came out gorgeous, we have shots on the lake and in the woods. Perhaps there's a place like that in your area?

We did ours at Glen Echo Park in MD, and it was soo much fun!

I second Glen Echo.  I was going to do it there this Sunday, but it's going to rain, so we rescheduled for next year when it'll be warmer too!  I hate the cold!  Anyway, it's a national park so there is a $50 permit required, but it has a ballroom and a carousel (not open until the Spring though) a pretty bridge with a creek and some other cool buildings.

We did ours at Manassas Battlefield. We liked it a lot.
